BIOGRAPHY (return to Brokers/Agents)

My business career started off in New York City's garment center in the downtown SoHo section. Working in and around garment factories I got to see first hand how clothing was produced from the design stage all the way through to the finishing and shipping of the finished product. While I was working in the New York factories and visiting other factories in and out of the state, I got very interested in and involved in the real estate these factories were located in. I got involved in looking for new facilities as well as negotiating the leases and eventual purchase a building downtown. I then went into my own business...with my hand still on the garment center, just in a different aspect. I went into the drycleaning business back in 1980 and grew that into owning three drycleaning plants as well as two coin laundries. Having done that for twenty years, I sold all of the stores and bought a distributorship business selling glass display cases on a retail and wholesale level. We sold display cases to all sorts of business's, Fortune 500 companies, schools, museums, antique malls, and institutions such as The Smithsonian, Cape Canaveral, as well as military institutions world wide. The transition for me into commercial real estate has been a natural one with my business background. I understand how the business owner thinks and what his needs are....first hand.
